God Shiva

vaikam temple in kerala is a very famous and ancient temle for Lord Shiva
ashtami in karthikai month will be celeberated in a grand scale there
they perform abishekam and archanai
they will also put annathanam for the whole people who are coming to worship
at shencottah -my living place -we will also celebrate this function in our Shiva
temple we will perform annabishegam to lord shiva
that too on that day it is karthigai somavaram

quick facial

take a spoon of wheat flour add rose water and make it as a paste
put the paste on the face for 30 minute then wash it
you will be very fresh

vadai

peanuts -1 cup
roasted Channa dal - 1 cup
salt
chillies
oil to make vadas
grind the peanuts and dal together add salt and chillies
heat the oil and put the mix in the shape of vadas


halwa

wheat - 1 cup
sugar - 3 cup
ghee - 1 cup
kesari powder - 1 ts
soak the wheat for 7 hours then grind it and take the milk from it
keep the milk for 12 hours until it get sour taste
mix the milk well , put it in a kadai and heat in the other oven boil 1cup of water
when the milk start boiling add the boiled water and stir well
it becomes thick add sugar and mix well until it becomes thick

more kozambu

heat and boil the curd until it becomes like a very thick gravy
you can kept it for more than six months in a fridge
whenever you want ,grind 4or5 green chillies,pepper,jeera,and a spoon of rice flour and coconut
mix it with the thick curd prepared and boil it for a few seconds
it is very nice to go with boiled rice

biscut halwa

marie biscut 1 pocket
sugar 1/2 cup
badam, pista and cashew powder 1/4 cup
cardamon powder 1/4 teaspoon
milk 1cup
powder the biscut pocket addsugar and make it a nice powder
put a kadai on the stove put the mix in it with milk
stir well add badam pists and cashew powder and cardamon
off the oven
serve in a bowl
time 10 to 15 min

asoka halwa

greengram 200gms
sugar 300gms + 150ml
ghee 150ml
maida or wheet flour 50 gms
rasberry red powder a little pinch
put green gram and water and boil it, till it is mashed
put 1/2 the q of sugar and make sugar jeera in a kadaitakeout the jeera from the oven
mix the paste of green gram and sugar jeera together slowly in a big vesselput the rasberry red and mix well to prepare this halwa it will take 45min.

deepavali sweet

kadalaimavu 1cup
coconut thuruviyadu 1cup
milk 1cup
cashew nut 10
bhadam 10
maidha 1cup
ghee 1cup
sugar 3cup

grind coconut cashewand bhadam with half milk
mix milk and kadalaimavu in a kadai heat
add the mixed coconut cashew and badham
add sugar and gheemix it well and put in agreeced plate
cut it in which shape you like

it will take 20 minits to prepare
